While the girls went shopping with Sarah and Judith, Martina took us to the nearby Ahrensburg Schloss - an interesting stately home, where you have to wear slippers over your shoes to protect and polish the floors.

The staff quarters look pretty too.

Opposite the schloss is the church where Kathryn was recently married.

This features a combined altar and pulpit (the sermon and eucharist being equally important)

and an angel which descends from the roof bearing the bowl for baptism. The ornate cubicles are for the count's family (red) and clergy (black).

Jule proudly wears her "schloss detective" certificate - for locating all of the photos in the house.
