British Day in Hamburg. Everything "British"...

Scottish Dancing

British Cars

Birds of Prey

Old Queens

More cars

A pipe band from Frankfurt

Cricket

A dog show

And bands

Oh, and of course, the one and only Minden Rose! And, after a week of rain, sunshine!

Who let this rabble in?

Grrrrrr

Boom Boom

Screech and Wheeze

Twang

Half the band were co-opted for the Wain

After the first spot, Sylvia decided to have a go at throwing the hammer. Looks more like the jock is going to try throwing the Sylvia (and she'd probably go further than the hammer did!)

The tiger seemed to be the centre of attention, at least for a subset of the visitors

Whilst the tiger's attention was firmly on the first Guinness for a week

So it's on to our second spot - the audience are ready

And they're off!

I spy a tigress in the crowd - Mona, the Zugvogel flautist.

Green Willow successfully completed - that's a relief!

And so on to our final spot - back in front of the stage. We had to wait for the band to finish, so we only did a short spot, but there was a good crowd ready made for us, and we lived up to it.

Then a quick change and out with the picnic stuff for the "Last Night of the Proms" concert

Featuring these soloists along with the orchestra.

So, a good time was had by all!
