With Zugvogel in Amberley, 5 July 2003

Our second day with Zugvogel brought a trip to the working museum at Amberley near Arundel, and a chance for both teams to dance. But first, a picnic lunch among the fire engines, today's special feature.

Minden Rose danced first, while Zugvogel looked on.

Then Zugvogel with Im Hamburg und im Altona

Followed by South German dances

Following which Minden Rose made a raid and ran off with Dieter! (Zugvogel came and took him back)

Zugvogel's display continued

For Minden Rose's next spot the band had grown with the addition of Zugvogel's musicians

The Portsmouth Street Dance ended in style

At the end of the display there was an opportunity for a joint group photo

then Zugvogel posed by the vintage fire engine - well they are hot!

After our return we met up for a party and food at Lesley's. The benefits of digital photography were noted as we had a continuous audience for a slideshow of the day's activities.
